Hager-Richter Celebrates 30 Years with Jeff Reid!

Today marks 30 years since Jeff Reid started as an entry level geologist/geophysicist at Hager-Richter on Jan. 4, 1987! Two days later, Jeff was on his way to an industrial site in Virginia for two weeks of geophysical fieldwork as part of a field crew with Dorothy Richter and Gene Simmons. It has been that way ever since!
Jeff’s interview took place sitting on a cardboard box in the first office space we leased after moving out of the kitchen and basement. There was no furniture. Who would have thought we would still be working closely together 30 years later?
Now Vice President & Senior Geophysicist, Jeff bravely took a chance on us for his first job out of college. We have grown together as a company and as professionals. Jeff is widely respected for his geophysical exertise and is a mentor to our younger staff. And yes, he still does fieldwork.
