Hager-Richter’s Portfolio of USACE & NAVFAC Projects Keeps Growing!

In 2011 and 2012, Hager-Richter, working as a subconsultant to the US Army Corps of Engineers, completed pre-construction surface geophysical survey projects at Fort Knox, home of our Nation’s gold reserve and at Fort Campbell, home to the elite Navy Seal Team that successfully completed its mission against Osama Bin Laden.  Hager-Richter mobilized crews to Fort Knox three times and to Fort Campbell for the fourth time, all for different projects in 2011 and 2012.  The individual geophysical survey areas have ranged from about three acres to more than 26 acres.

Other active military facilities at which Hager-Richter worked in 2011 and 2012 include:

  • Blue Grass Army Depot, Kentucky
  • Fort Sheridan, Illinois
  • Joint Base Maguire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey
  • US Army Military Academy, West Point, New York
  • 1st Sgt. Brandt US Army Reserve Center, Baltimore, Maryland
  • Fort Devens US Army Reserve Center, Massachusetts
  • Massachusetts Military Reservation, Massachusetts
  • Portsmouth Navy Ship Yard, Maine
  • Fort McCoy, Wisconsin
  • NAVSTA – Newport, Rhode Island
  • Naval Submarine Base – New London, Connecticut

USACE & NAVFAC engineers now recognize that well-planned and well-executed geophysical surveys can be a cost-effective way to help characterize subsurface conditions prior to excavation activities.  They do not want surprises on their construction and remediation projects.  And in these times of limited spending, they know a wisely designed geophysical program will save money.

Hager-Richter’s clients recognize that demanding owners like USACE & NAVFAC want rigorous quality control and excellent response at a reasonable cost.  They know that they can rely on Hager-Richter to stand ready, to be a team member, and to produce geophysical results that enhance the total project.

That’s why Hager-Richter’s portfolio of USACE & NAVFAC and related projects keeps growing!  In 2013, we have worked at:

  • Fort George G Meade, Maryland
  • US Coast Guard Base, San Juan, Puerto Rico
  • Joint Base Maguire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey
  • Okinawa White Beach DFSP, Japan
  • US Army Reserve Center, Windsor, Connecticut
  • Portsmouth Navy Ship Yard, Maine
  • Hanscomb AFB, Massachusetts
  • NAVSTA Cutler, Maine
  • PR-58 Former Nike Battery, North Kingstown, Rhode Island

Call us today!  The year is young.  Help us add to our list of USACE & NAVFAC projects for 2013.

cordially,

Dorothy Richter, P.G.
